The name of the Cave is El-Khizr. This Cave is located on the northern cliffs of Beit-Kerem.
There are two traditions regarded this cave. According to Muslims traditions, this is the cave where Hz. Khizr عليه اسلام took shelter for some time.
Another one of the traditions holds that this is the canve where Hz. Ilyas عليه اسلام took refuge after fleeing the persecution of the pagan Queen. Allah Knows best.
There’s also a Sheikh’s tomb near the cave.
Know This
Only a 20-minute hike along a narrow trail is the access to the site, butit’s worth the effort.
You should park your car on the eastern side of Bin’a then walk along the trail.
