Why are using Honorifics is an essential part of our culture

Muslims uses a number of honorifics praising Allah (e.g. Subḥānahu wa-taʿālā), or wishing good things upon Our Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم  or other prophets (ʿalayhi s-salām). These phrases are encompassed by a number of terms: Prayers upon Our Dear Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم may be referred to simply knows as Salawat in arabic or Darood Sharif in Urdu.

Using the Honorifics before any honorable name

In this website two honorifics are used before any respected name which are Hz. and Sayyidna.

Hz., HadratHadhrat, or Hadrah is a common Indian, Pakistani, Iranian, Afghan, and honorific Arabic and Turkish title used to honour a person. It literally denotes and translates to “presence, appearance.”

Sayyidna meaning ‘our sir’, ‘Our Lord’, ‘Our Master’ is an honorific title denoting people accepted as descendants of the Our Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم through his grandsons, Sayyidna Hasan ibn Ali عليه السلام and Sayyidna Husayn ibn Ali عليه السلام, sons of Our Prophet’s daughter Sayyidah Bibi Fatima رضي الله عنها and his cousin and son-in-law Hz. Ali ibn Abi Talib عليه السلام

Using the Honorifics after the name

Below are all the Honorifics used in this website after any honourable name.

Allahسبحانه و تعالى‎. (Subhanahu wa-ta’ala)
(Glorified and Exalted be He)
Our Dear Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم or صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم.
