Darmian, South Khorasan – Iran

Coordinates: 32.844863, 59.948337

After the castle of Almut, Forg’s fortress was the most important headquarters of the Ismailis, and in this place they placed the absolute fedayans under special education and training.

The absolute fedahs were a group that did not even have a name and changed after leaving the castle to perform their mission. And they used to nicknamed the killing of the enemies of the Ismaili sect.

The basis of the teachings of the Fedaians was to be able to surprise the enemy, to strike one or two strokes and to disappear before others came to themselves.

The existence of high mountainous areas has caused the foot of the Ismaili divisions to be opened to the area and to build fortified fortresses in most parts of this city and other southern cities of Khorasan to defend itself.
