When the caravan of the captives of Karbala and the heads of martyrs were being moved toward Damascus, the blessed head of Hz. Imam Husayn رضي الله عنه was held behind all the heads, in front of women and the family of Hz. Imam Husayn رضي الله عنه.
Later, Yazid maloon ordered to take the blessed head of Hz. Imam Husayn رضي الله عنه out of his gathering and hang together with the heads of other martyrs at the gate of the palace for three days. Then, they took the head down and put it at the north east of the mosque in a small room.
It is located after the mihrab and the mosque of Imam Zayn al-Abidin رضي الله عنه in a 3 by 4 meter room and inside its dome, the names of Imams رضي الله عنهم are written.
Inside the station of Imam Zayn al-Abidin رضي الله عنه, there is a very small room made of silver at the size of the head of a person made in the wall as a remembrance for the place of the blessed head of Imam رضي الله عنه.
On the left side of this silver place, the hall or room mentioned earlier is separated by an iron door.
On the left side of it, there is a small darih made of silver in rectangle form in the size of 1 by 1.5 meters.
