Kerak, Jordan

Coordinates: 31.189078, 35.700435

This tomb is on the outskirts of a new town called Kerak.

It is located in the west of the city of Karak in the south of Jordan, and it is a small-sized building about 57 meter of stone and clay in green color topped by a dome in the middle of the city’s Karak cemetery, which was named “Noah’s Tomb” by some local legend.

This shrine is not a shrine, as scholars of history confirm that he did not reside in that region, but they confirm its passage there.

It is hard to find this place and many don’t believe it to be here, as there are no signs and it’s on top of a mountain.

There is a whole grave yard beside it.

Know This

In some cases there are multiple tombs of one prophet throughout the world. Only one site is the real one and the rest of the other are purported there for spiritual reason.

This website, according to the best of the sources availabe online, lists all the tombs placing the prominent one at first.

There is still no way to determine whether the prominent one is the real site and not the others as in most of the cases, the evidence found in others are really compelling.

Only Allah knows best which tomb is the real and which one is purported spiritual one.
