Yusuf Agha, an Ottoman governor of Jerusalem, built this dome to the west of Al-Aqsa Mosque in 1092 AH/1681 AC.
It is a square-shaped building topped with a small dome. Today, it is used as an information office of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The monument underwent many changes and additions in the early 1970s, when the Restoration Committee of al-Aqsa Mosque converted it into a ticket office for Haram visitors.
