Also knows as spring of Hz. Ayyub عليه اسلام, a warm spring in Tabcha named after the Quranic prophet Hz. Ayyub عليه اسلام who was tested by Allah.

A nearby cave was, according to this tradition, the dwelling place of the sick Prophet.

Ein Ayyub and cave is located in Tabcha, on the north-west corner of the sea of Galilee. They are on the east side of the Church of the first Feeding of the Multitude.

Description

This spring is revered by both Muslims and Christians.

The stream actually flows out from a pool behind the bush. The pool diameter is 5.5M and its height is 4M. The sulfuric waters are warm and pleasant for dipping into them.

It is is located 50 meters from the Sea of Galilee, it creats a small pool that flow into the sea.

Story of little fishes

It is described by someone that every night, when people leave the area, small fish from the sea swim against the stream into the the small pool to evade predators, and specifically, to escape the catfish.

The most interesting thing is that in the morning, the first people who arrive at the waterfall scare the fish back into the sea, where hundreds of catfish are awaiting for them with open jaws.

Know This

The access can be problematic as there is no parking, and the place is poorly sustained.

It is usually very crowded and there is not a lot of place to sit.

Unfortunately it is not clean, many people left their garbage around. Coming with kids can be a bit problematic
