Masjid Umar Ibn Al-khattab (رضي الله عنه) is a mosque located southwest of Masjid al-Nabawi, in which the Prophet ﷺ prayed.

This mosque was built on the site of the pulpit of the Commander of the Faithful Hz. Umar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه for the Eid prayer. Also in the appreciation of one of many maqams of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

The mosque is located in the southwestern side of the Prophet’s Mosque, 455 meters from the expansion building, and 133 meters from the Al-Ghamamah Mosque.

It is located at the intersection of Quba Street with Al-Anbariya Street.

There is another mosque in Medinah sharif which shares the same name.

Know This

Located on As-salam Road just outside gate no 7 of Masjid al-Nabawi. It remains closed most of the times and is opened rarely.
