Mosque of Banu Qurayza

Place where the Prophet ﷺ is said to have been prayed during the seige of Banu Qurayza

Bani Qurayza Mosque is located on the location place of a fortress that was used by the Jew Al-Zubayr bin Bata Al-Qurazi, and it is on the east side to the north a little from Al-Fudikh Mosque.

The place of this mosque was the prayer hall of the Prophet ﷺ and his companions during the days of his siege of Banu Qurayza.

The place of this mosque was beset by winds, valleys, and forgetfulness. Time passed by centuries which led to its ruin.

Then it was renovated and built in the eighth century AH and a barn was built on it half a stature. It is now extinct.

Know This

It is on the eastern side of the Fudikh Mosque and on the southern side of Mashraba Umm Ibrahim, and it is now between the Zahra Hospital and the National Hospital on the road that branches off Ali Street Ibn Abi Talib (Al-Awali) and its connection to Prince Abdul Majid Street.
