Literally meaning Footprints of our master Imam Ali عليه اسلام, it is one of the famous religious spot for devotees, located in Faujdari Road near Railways Station of Hyderabad.
The prominent Qadam Gah-e-Mawla Ali عليه اسلام at Hyderabad enshrines the footprints of Imam Ali عليه اسلام.
These footprints were brought from Iran to Hyderabad during the reign of Mir Fateh Ali Khan Talpur, who was a friend of Fateh Ali Qajar of Iran.
According to a family history of the Talpurs, sacred footprints of Imam Ali عليه اسلام were given by the Iranian King to Mir Fateh Ali Talpur. Mir Fateh Ali Talpur kept them at Pucca Qila, Hyderabad, where he built a special room inside Pucca Qila (fort) for these holy footprints beside a mosque for Ziyarat.
After salah on Thursday night the women of the Talpur family used to venerate these footprints of Imam Ali عليه اسلام.
The common people had no chance to see them except on the Eid of Nowroz.
The last ruler of the Talpur dynasty in Sindh, Mir Naseer Khan Talpur (1829-1843), on the request of the people, built a shrine of footprints of Imam Ali عليه اسلام and kept these stones in the shrine, where people could see them.
This shrine was open for the general public.
Before the 1947 Partition, this place was known as “Shah ja Qadam” (footprints of Shah) but with the passage of time it became known as “Qadam Gah Maula Ali (A.S.).

Spiritually very rich place, clean and reachable it’s near gari khata or Hyder Chowk.
Wheelchair is not accessible, Free space for putting shoes is there or some shops also located inside where you can buy roses and other religious things to offer to the shrine.
It is 3.2 km or 17 min drive away from Hyderabad city.
